I run a small landscaping corporation; it started off as a self started business and I just did task for friends and family. But I’ve been able to make a name for myself, through word of mouth and high quality task at fair prices. I do everything from mow lawns to trimming tree branches to removing stumps. I really care about our clients. However in the summer, it can get physically draining. Being in charge, I constantly make sure that I have plenty of freezing water for myself and our workers… However, water does not compare to the relief provided by a/c. Fortunately since I am close to numerous of our buyers, on our breaks they often let me and our workers into their lofts. It’s such a relief to have the cool blast of the a/c. Those breaks make the day fly by. When I get home, I go straight to our own cooling system. I lay directly in front of the vent so that I can enjoy the cool air hitting me instantly. Without getting an air conditioned cut occasionally throughout the day, it’s simply impossible to keep laboring in the daylight. If every one of us don’t have any of the buyers that I am close to on a Summer day, I make sure I take our staff back to the main office at least 3 times just to get a cut with the a/c. Then occasionally, I will even take our workers out to lunch. Whatever every one of us can do to access the freezing air an AC unit provides. I don’t want any of our workers getting dehydrated or hurt on the task due to overheating. From years of experience I have come to realize that it is constantly worth losing a little time to re energize, rather than pushing ourselves too far and ending up hurt.
