I made a really stupid move when I first moved into my home. The house I bought was a little fixer upper place. It needed a new kitchen, new walls and new flooring. I was so excited and got right to work once I moved in. The demolition and gutting process was not horrible at all. I turned on my AC equipment and was the perfect temperature. The air conditioner system filtered the dust out of the air quality super fast. I barely needed a dust mask for most of the projects. After I was all done fixing up my home, I wanted to run my cooling system. The air conditioner had so much dust in it that it refused to turn on. The air filter was totally blocked with debris and the inside of the system was wrecked. I called a professional HVAC technician in and he said the HVAC is done for. Too much dirt and debris had gotten into the system. It had been running dirty for so long that the air conditioner actually overheated. The cooling unit had many air conditioner repairs and even with a good cleaning, would never be the same. The guy recommended for me to get a whole new system. Because I used the AC system during my construction process, I now needed to buy a new one. I just spent a fortune on new kitchen appliances and tile. Now I have to factor in a cooling system. That is totally going to break my budget. I should have known better.
