Me as well as my fiance recently decided that we wanted to do a little something more with our sunshine room.

Our sunroom offered a beautiful look into our backyard as well as we found ourselves spending quite a lot of time in it.

Naturally, our sunshine room was a little less fantastic during the extreme seasons of the year, where it was a little too overheated in the Summer at certain times of the afternoon when the sunshine was glaring through the windows. It was also pretty cold in the wintertime because of the lack of insulation or climate control that there was. And the nature is no less than beautiful to observe during the Summer or the winter, that was for sure, so that’s when the both of us decided that we wanted to turn our sunroom into an all-season room. In order to pull that off, we needed to make some renovations. That’s when we needed some form of climate control. The window air conditioning units for the Summer time would be big, boxy as well as ugly! Setting up space furnaces in the Winter time while potentially a workable solution, would cause tripping as well as potential fire hazards. Not to mention how annoying the clutter would be. It seemed that our best chance was a ductless, mini-split Heating as well as A/C unit! Both of us would not need to extend our ductwork that was in the basement and install it to the rest of the home’s central heating as well as air system. Instead, the ductless mini-split Heating as well as A/C unit consists of an indoor air handler, as well as an outdoor compressor with a condenser unit. The more than one separate components are joined by piping that creates no more than a 3-inch hole in the wall. In short, a ductless, mini split unit was perfect for our needs and was highly recommended by our HVAC technician.
