At last, the cold weather is heating up around here. It seems like it’s been cold and snowy around here forever, but now the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and the temperatures are heating up nicely. But as you know, as warm weather comes along, that means that it’s time to get your air conditioning ready for the hot summer temperatures. The warm weather might have you thinking about getting your A/C maintained. But if you’re like me, then you are probably looking at getting your air conditioner replaced. We’ve had the same old central air conditioning system for the past twenty years, and it’s high time that we get a new A/C unit for our house. And now that the weather is changing, it’s the perfect time for us to get our air conditioner replaced. It’s a good idea to get a new A/C unit installed early so that it will be installed and ready to go before the temperatures get too high. We knew that it was finally time to look into getting a new air conditioning because the average lifespan of a central air conditioning is only between ten and twenty years. So we’ve already gotten more use out of our A/C than most units get. We did some repairs on our old A/C last year, but our HVAC technician told us that with a unit as old as ours, we would probably be better off just replacing our whole entire unit than to spend lots of money on repairs and maintenance.
