They are powerful enough to cool the small new home but the unit itself is too small to be housed where intended

My mom recently moved up North to be closer to family. Well, she was near some family before, but they lived over a half hour away so it was hard with hectic schedules to get together. Mom has never been 1 to adore driving anyway so she would decline invitations to supper & such. She basically lived a quiet life where she was before & now she is on the go all the time. All of us found her a genuinely cute new home that she could absolutely afford & she seems entirely cheerful there. There is 1 downside to the place but that has become quite a point of frustration. The building has heat & is entirely well insulated. This will be awesome when it comes to the long winters in our area. The problem comes when we are trying to find a solution for air conditioning. The place is small so purchasing 1 of those kneel alone portable units is out of the question. It would take up upscale floor space. There are openings in the wall where a window unit could be sited during the warmer weeks, but, the problem has become finding 1 that fits the space. The building is over twenty years ancient & many of this week’s units are far more compact. They are powerful enough to cool the small new home but the unit itself is too small to be housed where intended. All of us don’t genuinely want to purchase a bigger unit due to cost & the fact that it would freeze mom out even on it lowest setting, and i have come to the conclusion that we need to contact a local HVAC supplier to have them find a solution to the problem. All of us may be able to sign up & have them install & remove it for mom each season too. That would be great!
