I inherited an extensive gun collection from my great-Grandmother.
- These guns are seriously precious and heirlooms.
I worry about them getting ruined or damaged from sunshine or moisture. For a long time, I kept them sealed in an airtight case. While this kept the collection in pristine condition, I was unable to see or look at the guns. I finally started searching for a display case. I checked all of the furniture stores in my local area but found nothing suitable. They were the wrong size, not overly good to look at and built of inferior materials. Most of them were constructed of pressboard with wood veneer. I didn’t trust these sort of cases to adequately protect my great-Grandmother’s gun collection. I then searched online and eventually came across a custom furniture store, and on their website, they offered to fulfill custom orders. I called them and explained what I was looking for with my old gun collection. The undoubtedly next afternoon, a craftsman from the custom furniture shop called me. He had a long list of questions, which helped him create the gun case of my dreams. Along with dimensions, I needed to provide the width and number of shelves, type of wood, and how many guns that I had and needed to display. The process was undoubtedly precise and the service was rather high-priced however well worth it. The display case is really just right for each of my guns to be displayed. It is really heavy duty and will honestly hold up for years and years to come.
