I was kneeling in the house the other day, just watching the rain rolling off our skylight.
The lightning was lighting up the darkened day sky, and I was glad that I didn’t need to go in to labor that day.
It was kind of funny that I was kneeling here right now. Normally I labor for a school district, however because of the harsh heat, they had cancelled school that day. I was absolutely glad to be kneeling here in our house instead of kneeling outside and watching as the youngsters played, the a/c in the school wasn’t all that great because they couldn’t get the funding until the new budget was settled. At that time, they were going to have the Heating and A/C corporation come into the school and put a new a/c component into the school while the youngsters were on trip. I guessed the a/c didn’t assume savor waiting for trip to chop down because it was only May and it was dying. It had been a long time coming and the a/c was still lingering. I can’t wait until Winter time when the weather is cool and no a/c is needed. We’ll be able to take the youngsters outside to play or to do some clean-up on the playground. The two of us don’t have undoubtedly cold weather in the winter, so all of us don’t worry about heating. As long as the youngsters have sweaters, it is constantly comfortable. I’m not sure what all of us are going to do if the a/c breaks down now, with only more than one weeks left of the fall semester.
