My spouse and I have absolutely been considering moving north.

All of us both grew up in the south, and the people I was with and I both have more than 2 friends and family here, however it is just not an easy place for us to live, however i am basically allergic to the sun, so I cannot go outside for most of the year which absolutely odors, and my spouse absolutely hates the heat.

It is usually in the hundreds for a couple weeks out of the year, and my spouse works outside all day long. Not only is it absolutely boiling outside, however it is also quite humid. It is actually not a dry heat care about it is out west where my parents are living right now, then even though I cannot be out in the boiling weather for genuinely long, I have found that I prefer dry heat over humid heat. I have also found that it affects my home as well. All of us have air conditioning of course, however it just cannot seem to keep up with the crazy high humidity. It gets absolutely sticky in our home while I was in the nights. I have even found that the kitchen floor along with the stairs are quite slippery because of the humidity. I fell on our kitchen floor about a month ago, and I am still in pain from it. I told my spouse about it, and he is absolutely distraught that I might fall again while carrying our little baby. I am distraught too, but the worst area is that the stairs are slippery… My spouse purchased a dehumidifier for the kitchn, and he also purchased one for the living room where the stairs are located. I am hoping that this will help, although I am still convinced that the people I was with and I should transfer north.
